A troubled teenage girl blames herself for the death of her younger sister, Violet. In her despair, she accidentally drowns and awakens being buried alive in an alternate universe. When she discovers that, in this version of reality, Violet is alive but missing, she sets out to rediscover her past, save her sister, and redeem herself.
Themes Explored

I originally had the idea for the story 5 years ago in film school and after presenting the concept to my producing class, I became obsessed with the idea and invested countless hours into the development of this passion project. I knew I wanted to craft a compelling mystery thriller from the perspective of a teenage girl as she struggles to overcome shame and guilt in the wake of a traumatic loss. ​
At its core, the story is about redemption, and I used the concept of death and rebirth in an alternate universe to explore the nature of second chances and self-forgiveness...
The Pilot
A local indie production with big dreams
In August of 2023, a dedicated, largely volunteer-based cast and crew came together over 10 days in Whatcom County, Washington to shoot a proof-of-concept pilot episode for the series.

This 30-minute pilot ​was created to show potential investors, producers, and platforms that we have a captivating story worth reckoning with and the talent to back it up!
